A suspect entered 7-Eleven on Waverly Avenue in Holtsville at approximately 2:40 on Tuesday, Jan. 21, allegedly brandishing a weapon and demanding cash, police said. He then proceeded to flee on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Additional details of the robbery have not been released.
The incident at the Holtsville 7-Eleven came on the heels of two other reported robberies of pizzerias in nearby Centereach. It is unclear if the robberies are related.
